Baishinshunju

A different kind of plum wine using a pulp base of fully ripe Nanko plums. It is thick and lightly cloudy and made from fully ripe ume puree. In 2018, it won first place at the Nagahama Umeshu Festival. It also won a gold medal at the London Sake Challenge, which shows its high quality. It can be drunk straight or with soda or on the rocks for a robust taste. It can also be enjoyed as a sauce for ice cream.
